Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using SignQA at signqa.monster (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” refers to that entity and its authorized users.

Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy are incorporated into these Terms by reference. In case of conflict on refunds and cancellations, the Refund Policy controls for those topics; otherwise these Terms control.

Paid Teams subscriptions are sold and billed through Paddle.com Market Limited and/or its affiliates (“Paddle”) acting as merchant of record. Paddle’s checkout, buyer terms, and tax handling apply to those purchases in addition to these Terms.

SignQA provides software tools to document QA stories, test cases, evidence, and sign-off workflows. The Service currently includes:

• SignQA Teams — multi-user organization workspaces with projects, teams, roles, assignments, sharing, audit history, billing, and related features, including free and paid plans.
• Classic solo — a personal console that may store data in your browser and optionally in a database you connect.

We may modify, add, or remove features, limits, and plan entitlements (for example seats, projects, share links, storage, or export). We do not guarantee any particular feature will remain available forever. We may offer beta or experimental features that are provided “as is” and may be changed or withdrawn without notice.

SignQA is a documentation and workflow tool. It does not replace your QA process, release governance, legal review, or compliance obligations. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and adequacy of your test evidence and sign-off decisions.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account, including actions by users you invite. Notify us promptly at hello@signqa.monster if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. Organization administrators are responsible for inviting only authorized individuals and for configuring roles and access appropriately.

One natural person or legal entity may not create accounts primarily to evade bans, plan limits, billing, or security controls.

You agree not to, and not to permit others to:

• Violate applicable law or third-party rights
• Upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, scrape excessively, probe, bypass, or reverse engineer the Service except to the limited extent permitted by mandatory law
• Access another user’s or organization’s data without authorization
• Abuse invites, sharing, comments, or public links to harass, spam, or distribute unlawful or infringing content
• Circumvent plan limits, authentication, billing, or security controls
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a competing managed offering without our prior written consent
• Use the Service to store payment card primary account numbers, government identity numbers, special-category health data, or other highly regulated data unless we have a separate written agreement that expressly allows it

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access immediately where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

You retain ownership of content you submit (including stories, test cases, comments, uploads, organization settings, and similar) (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, back up, display, and otherwise use Your Content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide features you enable (including sharing with invitees and via links you create).

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and to grant the license above, and that Your Content does not infringe third-party rights or violate law. You are responsible for employer policies and confidentiality obligations that apply to test evidence or release documents.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or law.

Classic may store data in your browser (for example IndexedDB) and, if you choose, in a Postgres database you provide. You are solely responsible for securing that database, connection credentials, backups, retention, and compliance. We do not control third-party database hosts you connect (such as Neon or similar providers).

If you store API keys or connection strings in Classic features, you do so at your own risk and remain responsible for rotation and access control.

Free and paid Teams plans may be offered with different entitlements. Prices, plan names, and features are shown in the product at the time of purchase or change and may vary by region.

Merchant of record. Paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle collects payment, issues invoices/receipts as applicable, and handles applicable sales taxes / VAT / GST according to its buyer terms and local rules. Your payment relationship for those charges is with Paddle; card data is handled by Paddle and its payment partners, not stored as full PAN on SignQA servers.

Renewals. Paid plans typically renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal in billing settings or the customer portal. You authorize recurring charges for successive periods until cancellation.

Changes. Upgrades, downgrades, seat or entitlement changes, and prorations (if any) follow the controls shown in the product and Paddle’s billing rules. We may change prices prospectively for future periods; material price changes will be communicated in a manner consistent with applicable law and/or shown before you confirm a new purchase.

Refunds and cancellations. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and, where applicable, Paddle’s buyer policies and mandatory consumer law.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of paid features. You remain responsible for fees incurred before cancellation or suspension takes effect.

The Service may rely on or integrate with third parties (for example hosting, databases, email delivery, object storage, payment processing via Paddle, or AI providers you configure with your own API keys). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, security incidents outside our reasonable control, or their policies.

SignQA, including its software, UI, branding, documentation, and related materials (excluding Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal purposes in accordance with your plan. No other rights are granted.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of our software except as needed to use the Service through our provided interfaces, or as mandatory law allows.

If you provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SIGN-OFF DOCUMENTS OR EXPORTS WILL MEET ANY LEGAL, REGULATORY, OR CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENT.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law (including certain consumer protections).

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US (OR TO PADDLE FOR SIGNQA PLANS) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100).

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SignQA and its operators, officers, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right—except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel paid plans as described in the Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, if payment fails, or if we discontinue the Service in whole or in part.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive. Data handling after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example in-product or by email) where required or appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where mandatory law requires a different process.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may apply and cannot be waived.

Subject to those mandatory protections, the courts of Bangkok, Thailand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. Nothing prevents either party from seeking interim injunctive relief in any competent court.

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
• Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Notices. We may provide notices via the Service, email to your account address, or the contact details you provide. Legal notices to us: hello@signqa.monster.
• Language. These Terms are in English. Translations are for convenience only; the English version controls unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
